Players draft a 32-card deck, where 2 cards are Legendary creatures, and the other 30 are any other type of card. Players do not need to have a specific amount of creatures or spells in their deck. Once both decks are ready, then the match can begin!
The main objective of the game is to get your opponent's Life Force( 20-sided die) to 0.
At the start of the game, each player rolls their individual 20-sided dice. Whoever has the higher number gets to go first. Both players start the game, drawing 3 cards as their starting hand. At the start of the player's turn, they alone draw a card.
The Energy Crystal, the 6-sided die determines what cards can be played. after the second player's turn, the energy crystal increases by one. Once it hits 6, the energy crystal does not increase further. Players can play any amount of cards equal to or less than the current energy. For example, if the energy crystal is on 4, a player can play a 4-cost card, or instead, one 3-cost card and a 1-cost card, etc. as long as it is equal to or less than the current energy crystal.
Creatures act as the main force of winning the game, but it's not that simple! Once a creature is played, they can't attack until your next turn.
if one creature attacks another, then it's simple math. Both creatures attack each other and if the attack (the first number of the card i.e. 3/4 where 3 is the attack and 4 is the defense) is greater than or equal to the defense, then that creature kills the other. Oftentimes, both creatures kill each other, so it's important to read the stats of both your creature and the other one.
There are several Abilities that appear on both creature cards and spell cards, that are shown on the cards in bold.
Blockade
If an enemy creature(s) have blockade, it means that you must get rid of that creature before you can attack any other foe. cards that say deal (x) damage don't have to deal damage directly to blockade creatures, so use that to your advantage!
Trample
Once played, trample cards destroy All other creatures with that much defense or lower(even your own!). For example, if a card has Trample (2) All creatures with 2 defense or lower get destroyed.
Slayer
Slayer cards are a rare oddity, and strangely powerful. Any creature that has slayer can kill a titan, regardless of stats.
Spellproof
Creatures with Spellproof can't be targeted by any type of spell, your own or your opponents.
Sacrifice
You can sacrifice a card from your hand in order to gain an extra energy crystal for this turn only. You cannot exceed 6 energy nor can you sacrifice cards to regain spent energy.
